I have downloaded the updated macOS High Sierra installer app from App Store, in order to put it on a pen drive, in order to have a backup installer for the os, just in case issues occur. I have reinstalled the OS before, but I wanted to have the updated installer of 10.13.4 . I know that, if I delete the installer app, I can re-download it safely later, but I have heard something that, if I delete this app after I have got it, the installed OS may become unstable, that updates from App Store may no longer be delivered and things like that. I do not think those things are true but, just in case, I am asking here: are they true? Do I need now to re-install on my own Mac the OS, if I have downloaded the High Sierra install app and deleted it? Or do I need to download it again and keep it there?
