Hey everybody! I haven't forgotten about you completely. In fact, I've just updated all of the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS game lists and Virtual Console lists. I hope you're enjoying playing EarthBound on the move!

Game Encyclopedias & Secrets

22nd March 2015

Ages ago, I started putting up information on characters, enemies, bosses and items for a bunch of NES games. I always wanted to continue adding more information like this, so I have spent a chunk of this weekend putting up a ton of 'encyclopedia' information on a few NES games. I have also made a start putting up a few secrets pages. More of these will be coming soon!

Check out the following NES game pages for the updated information:

Nintendo Power Internet Archive

Remember when I said there were more updates coming? Well, Stage 2 of the big NinDB update is here!

The entire site has been reorganised, all game lists updated with the latest information, and every game page has been updated with Virtual Console release information (including the Wii games on Wii U).

Now that I've cleared all of that out of the way, the next step is to add all of the missing game pages, and put back all of the easter eggs, update cameos, you know, all of the wonderful things. Maybe even put a search function back in.

Please have a good look around and let me know if you find any mistakes, broken links, or anything else you think needs fixing.

Wow! It's certainly been a long time since I last posted an update here! You may be forgiven for thinking that I've abandoned NinDB and will never ever update it again.

Nope!

A few weeks ago I silently updated all of the system game lists. They are once again split into Japan, U.S. and European release lists, and again contain every game published by Nintendo, regardless of whether they are a Nintendo property or not. On top of this, I have added European release lists for the NES, Super Nintendo and Game Boy, which required a lot of original research. The widely accepted European release dates on the internet are mostly wrong.

And then today I completely updated all of the Nintendo Series lists. The entire thing has been overhauled, and each individual series has been updated. A few new series have been added too, such as Pushmo, Dillon's Rolling Western and NES Remix.

However, there's still so much to do! More content to add, more game pages to complete... Not to mention the SSB for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U cameo & trophy guides - and yes, I've made a solid start on those already!

So it just leaves me to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I hope you're looking forward to 2015 as much as I am! Mario Maker, Splatoon... It's a good time to be a Nintendo fan.

I have compiled pages from Nintendo Power magazine into collections that focus on individual games featured in the Super NES Classic (plus Super Mario 64 to celebrate Super Mario Odyssey). I've done some light editing to some of the images to make them fit better when viewing two pages at a time in landscape orientation. If you use double page view, look for an option in the CBZ app that treats the cover as a separate page. This collection also includes the Nintendo Power comics (the Super Metroid comic should be viewed in single page view).

If you need a free app on Windows 10 that can open CBZ files, Comix is the one I use:

If you need a free app on Android that can open CBZ files, Comic Screen is the one I use:

If you need a free app on iPad that can open CBZ files, ComicFlow is the one I use:

If you need a free app on iPhone that can open CBZ files, CloudReaders is the one I use:

My source for Act 6 from the Star Fox comic was this website (although I belive the original scanner was a Star Fox fan website):

The Zelda comic pages were converted from the official Zelda website by David Butler. You can download more Zelda comics from this website:

Most of the pages were scanned by contributors to Retromags. You can download full Nintendo Power issues from their website:
